Easy Shortbread Cookies

This is a very easy and yummy treat that is perfect to do with children. Either roll out as indicated in the recipe or just combine ingredients, shape into a log, allow to rest in refrigerator, then slice and bake. Excellent (time-tested) cookies that bake to perfection!
