Rosé wine lends itself to enhance cocktails and this variation on a traditional margarita is the perfect example.

Rosé Margarita
INGREDIENTS
ice
½ ounce fresh lime juice
1 fresh lime wedge
3 fresh strawberries, washed/hulled & quartered
1 teaspoon demera sugar
2 ounces Tequila Blanco
½ ounce Triple Sec
1 chilled bottle of Rosé of Pinot Noir, for topping
INSTRUCTIONS
Muddle (smudge/gently smash) lime juice, lime wedge, strawberries, and sugar in a the bottom of a cocktail shaker for about 1 minute.
Add ice, then pour in tequila and Triple Sec. Shake vigorously until outside of shaker is well-frosted.
Strain margarita into a chilled glass over ice, and top with chilled wine.
Stir gently to combine, then serve.
